Marathon swimmer Julia Weisenberg supports Fresh Pond cleanup!

Julia Weisenberg, awed by the deep clarity of Fresh Pond waters, writes:

Switched my training to Fresh Pond. Literally have not swam here since I was a teenager . It was beautiful ! This place is a treasure. Check out the Fresh Pond Association and read about all their endeavors to keep this lens on the aquifer protected.

I am competing in the “Olympic Triathlon “ course of the Mighty Montauk race. (you’ll see other types that day as well).

We thought the water was just fine yesterday. Maybe a few of those green suspended pieces but not in the middle or right side, just in the very beginning of the opening.
