Like our beaches and open space preserves, Fresh Pond is a beautiful, unique natural resource that is available for everyone to enjoy. It is also an indicator of the health of our water supply. Become a member of the Fresh Pond Neighbors Association to advocate for improving the quality of the water on Shelter Island, maintaining Fresh Pond as a recreational resource and preserving the natural habitat of a wonderful array of waterfowl and aquatic animals.
